Contrary to popular belief, Bar Juice 5000 are not made by Elf Bar, Lost Mary, or any other disposable vape brand. They're made by an independent manufacturer who developed all of the recipes here in the UK. The company (called Bar Juice Vape) created the Bar Juice 5000 range of liquids to help encourage people to switch over to refillable pod kits instead of disposable vapes. Their main brand mission is to decrease the carbon footprint of vaping, make vaping more economical, and (most importantly) make delicious e-liquid that's so good you won't want to switch back to disposables.
Bar Juice 5000 and Elfliq share lots of similarities, they're both refillable e-liquids based on disposable vape flavours. Elfliq is made by Elf Bar, whereas Bar Juice 5000 are made by an independent UK company. Each person will have their preference on which e-liquid brand is better as they both have their pros and cons. Elfliq offer 5mg nicotine strengths, while bar juice offer a wider variety of flavours. We would say that both brands are great, however Elfliq is the best choice for Elf Bar lovers, and Bar Juice 5000 are the best brand for people who enjoyed a variety of disposable vape brands. Either way, both brands are brilliant at replicating disposable vape flavours to a tee.
Bar Juice 5000 e-liquids are best suited to pod kits and MTL tanks paired with a low powered box mod. This is because the Bar Juice 5000 range feature high PG e-liquids. If a liquid is high in PG the ratio stated on the bottle will be 50VG/50PG or higher, with the majority of Bar Juice's e-liquid coming in at 40VG/60PG. Bar Juice is also a nic salt e-liquid meaning that the highest concentration available is 20mg (2%). Being a thin e-liquid that also features a high nicotine content makes Bar Juice much better suited to lower powered kits that won't overheat and over-vapourise the e-liquid. Heating up this e-liquid too high (for example in a sub-ohm kit) will vaporise too much nicotine and could give you unwanted side effects like nausea etc. It can also make the thinner e-liquid spit up through the mouth piece.
There are a few different kits we would recommend to be used with Bar Juice 5000 e-liquid. The most common kit is the Xros 3 Mini. Bar Juice 5000 e-liquids are available in 10mg (1%) and 20mg (2%) nicotine strengths.
20mg (or 2%) is the highest available nicotine strength in the UK. It's the most common strength available in disposable vapes so many people decide to start on 20mg nic salts when deciding to move away from disposables on to refillable pod kits. Using the same nicotine strength on your Bar Juice liquid that you used in your disposable vapes or a similar strength to your cigarettes makes the transition over to pod kits much smoother and easier to maintain. Some people decide to move down to 10mg (or 1%) when they're comfortable with using a pod kit and are looking to quit nicotine. All of the Bar Juice 5000 flavours are available in both 10mg and 20mg nicotine strengths.
Bar Juice 5000 10ml bottles feature 10ml of nicotine salt e-liquid, this equates to around 3000 puffs. As a regular disposable vape features 600 puffs, one bottle of Bar Juice 5000 has the same amount of liquid and vaping time as 5 disposable vapes. Most of the time a 3000 puff 10ml bottle of Bar Juice will in fact last longer than 5 disposable vapes due to a few factors. The first reason is because of the quality of disposable vapes. Most disposable vapes have their battery die prematurely, before all of the e-liquid has even been vaped. This means you're usually throwing out your disposable before even being able to use all of the e-liquid. When using a rechargeable kit, you simply just charge the device every so often and you'll be able to vape the full 10ml of e-liquid in the bottle.
Bar Juice 5000 are thin e-liquids designed to be used with vape pod kits. The majority of Bar Juice 5000 e-liquids are mixed to a 40VG/60PG ratio. They're on the thinner side for a nic salt and have a great balance of flavour and consistency. The Bar Juice 5000 range is unlike many e-liquid ranges as there's a variety of VG/PG raitios featured. The reason for this is that different flavour recipes call for different amounts of flavour concentrate. Typically, flavour concentrate is 100% PG, therefore some Bar Juice 5000 flavours are thinner than others. In the Bar Juice range there are:

If you're looking for a specific ratio it's always best to check the individual product description before purchasing. Although, the difference in 40VG/60PG and 50VG/50PG aren't going to be a bother for casual vapers.
